Natural, Timeless, and Joyful Photography

Hi! I'm Jodi

Thanks for stopping by! I am a photographer from Marshfield, Massachusetts. My husband bought me my first camera shortly after having our first baby. I loved dressing her up and taking all the photos and capturing all her little moments. When my son was born, it just meant that I had twice as much I could photograph.  As my kids got older they would refer to me as "the paparazzi" because I was always in their face with my camera.

I loved my camera and I loved taking pictures but I was using auto mode and not getting the photos I wanted.   One day, I decided I wanted to move out of auto mode and see what manual mode could do. After reading and googling all things photography, I became addicted to learning about my camera, my settings, and understanding light. Soon I was taking all the online classes, following all types of photographers and really enjoying learning all I could about photography.

I love photographing all things! I believe each picture tells a story and captures a moment that would otherwise be forgotten. I am passionate about photography and I'm thrilled that I pushed my doubts and fears away and decided to go for it and launch Jodi Catalano Photography. Lets work together and create photos and memories that you and your family will treasure forever!

A little about me

I live in Marshfield, Massachusetts with my husband, Ryan.

I am a mom to two amazing kids (Ella and Braden) and a dog mom to the cutest English Bulldog, Phoebe...she is my favorite four legged model!

Before becoming a mom, I worked as a Developmental Specialist in Early Intervention.

I have a slight addiction to iced coffee and Pinterest.

I love summer, sunsets, beach walks, flowers, baking and all things fall!

Besides loving photography, I love dance. In fact, when I was a sophomore in high school, my sister and I opened our own dance studio, which we ran for 20 years. We had over 200 students and it was so fun watching our students grow and perform on the stage. We sold our studio and to this day I still miss it. Perhaps dance photography is in my future!

On the weekends, you will find me on the sidelines routing on my kiddos at all their sporting events...watching them play is my favorite thing to do!
